What does a gerotor do?
Dec 02, 2025|

A gerotor is the core working element inside a hydraulic steering unit. When hydraulic oil flows into the steering unit, it drives the rotor to turn inside the stator. This rotor-and-stator movement (the gerotor set) creates the controlled displacement that makes the steering unit respond smoothly and accurately. Whether a steering unit runs stable or not largely depends on how precisely the gerotor set is matched and manufactured.
Our factory has been producing gerotor and geroler sets since 1999. We have a strong technical background and focus on high-precision manufacturing. Our gerotors are made using internal-cavity grinding, and our production standards follow those of leading global brands. Over more than a decade of R&D work, we've refined our processes so our accuracy has remained at the front of the industry.
We have excellent quality control capabilities. We have a dedicated metrology room equipped with a ZEISS CMM from Germany to ensure every part meets strict tolerances. Our QC team follows a full inspection workflow that keeps the entire machining process under control and ensures a very high pass rate for every batch.
If you manufacture hydraulic steering units, and you are not satisfied with the accuracy of your current gerotor sets-or you are looking for a stable, long-term supplier-feel free to contact us. Our consistent quality and production capacity can fully support all of your needs for gerotor and geroler sets.
