What Are The Special Uses Of Hydraulic Motors?
Jun 06, 2024| Any device that converts energy into rotational motion is called a motor. A hydraulic motor converts the pressure energy of a liquid medium into rotational motion.
1. The hydraulic system has the characteristics of high energy density. For motors of the same power, hydraulic motors are much smaller and lighter than electric motors. It is convenient to use on mobile equipment.
2. The hydraulic motor is easy to adjust the speed. Relying on the adjustment of the hydraulic valve, it can be infinitely adjusted between 0-maximum speed. The motor itself does not require special design and has low cost. This is much cheaper than a motor + reducer, or a variable frequency motor or servo motor.
3. The hydraulic motor is fully enclosed and can be used safely in dusty, humid (even underwater), and flammable environments. It is much more reliable than explosion-proof (flameproof) motors.
4. The hydraulic system has a strong overload resistance. Relying on the protection of the overflow valve, it allows a long (relatively) long and frequent overload, and it is easy to recover in an overload state without damaging the equipment or restarting the equipment.
